The Ryerson Angel Network's (RAN) mandate is to provide funding, mentorship and resources to youth-led businesses (current post-secondary students and recent alumni under 35 years of age) within Southern Ontario.
The benefits to receiving RAN funding are:
Resources: Entrepreneurs who receive funding through RAN automatically obtain access to StartMeUp’s business consulting resources, as well they may be eligible to obtain access to Ryerson's Digital Media Zone incubation center.
Funding: In addition to Angel Capital, entrepreneurs may also be provided with access to grants and loans from the Ontario Centers of Excellence and the Investment Accelerator Fund.
Mentorship: RAN Angel Investors take an active and supportive role in the companies they invest in. Our Angel Investors are members of RAN because they want to mentor and support youth-led businesses.
